A: Yes! The theme is Steampunk, which is essentially the science fiction of the Victorian era. Think Jules Verne (Around the World in Eighty Days), H.G. Wells (The Time Machine) or just airships, steam tanks, women in corsets, men in top hats and gears everywhere.
Q: Can I come in theme appropriate clothing?
A: Absolutely! If you can dig up a Victorian dress/suite, slap some gears on it and put your best goggles on, you'll make our day just that much more awesome!
Q: Who are all those weird people in Victorian clothes with all the gears?
A: Presumably, they're our friends. Don't worry. They don't bite! They're actually all incredibly nice and intelligent people underneath the gears.
Q: How can I get down to Maryland? It's so far away and I don't have transportation!
A: We'll be organizing some carpooling efforts from the Worcester, MA area. Please contact us if you want in on that. Unfortunately, if you can't make it to that area and you don't know anyone near you who is also going and can transport you, we don't have a solution for you... but feel free to contact us anyway and we'll see what we can do.
Q: I want to bring someone with me to the wedding. Can I?
A: All of our invitation are either family-wide or have a built-in +1. All you have to do is RSVP with how many people you want to bring. In general, we ask that single individuals stick to just one additional person or contact us for special cases.
Q: I want to buy you lovely lovebirds a present! Where should I ship it?
A: All of the registries linked on the Registry page should have a default address in MD that we'd like everything to be shipped to.
