We are fortunate to be hosting our wedding at La Reserve Beauchene. Beauchene is a beautiful, private piece of earth, sprawled over 50,000 acres of untouched Canadian wilderness with more than 36 pristine lakes. Accommodations Everyone at the wedding will be provided sleeping accommodations in one of the many cabins located at Beauchene. Between the 10 luxury “Bird” Cabins and Moose, Fox and Bear Cabins we have space to accommodate all of our guests. Activities There are many activities that you can take part in to explore this beautiful paradise. There are canoes, kayaks and maps available. Feel free to bring a mountain bike, or use one of the ones provided. Swim off the end of the docks, spend some time fishing or use one of the boats to explore the lakes and beaches. Feel free to hike the many trails and wilderness, or just sit and enjoy the peacefulness and serenity around you. Getting to Beauchene Beauchene is located 80km north-east of North Bay, ON. Travel time is about 5 hours from the Toronto airport. There are directions available on our website www.NikandCheryl.com or use Google maps to “Beauchene”. There will be signs once you are through Temiscaming, QC. Those flying in have a choice to fly into Toronto or directly to North Bay. Rental cars are available at both airports, but we do suggest calling ahead to reserve. What to Bring and Wear At this time of year, Beauchene can be cool in the mornings and evenings. Bring some warm outdoor clothing for at night. During the day it will be warm; T-Shirt and shorts are fine. Besides the wedding ceremony, casual dress is acceptable. Be sure to pack a bathing suit for swimming. If you want to go hiking bring a good pair of hiking boots or shoes. Don’t forget you camera, the views are spectacular!
